A collection of photographs submitted by you, our friends and customers, showcasing costumes made using Margo's patterns.
This was a recent online competition, sponsored by Mama Rose. The rules were simple: Contestants were to create an Elizabethan gown, using Margo's patterns. The catch? They could only use fabrics already on hand, with a budget of up to $25.00 for additional materials and notions needed. (Of course, this was on the honor system!) Entries were judged by Margo, based on photographs and descriptions emailed to her at this site. The prize was a $100 gift certificate provided by Mama Rose. So, it's over, and we have photographs of the contestants, as well as the winner. You say you didn't hear about it?
