Now there's a pattern package that gives you all the pieces neccesary to make
a complete Elizabethan working class woman's costume! This package will do for the middle- and lower-classes what the Elizabethan Lady's Ensemble did for the noblewomen -- in short, it provides top-quality patterns, thoroughly researched and documented, in a single, comprehensive package. No more buying separate patterns for each piece.
IMPORTANT: THIS IS NOT FINE PRINT! MOST OF THE PIECES IN THE WORKING WOMAN'S WARDROBE ARE ADAPTED FROM SELECTED PIECES IN THE ELIZABETHAN LADY'S ENSEMBLE. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE ENSEMBLE -- THE UNDERPINNINGS, WARDROBE, AND ACCESSORIES -- YOU DO NOT NEED THIS NEW PACKAGE.

Of course, if you're starting with a middle-class costume and planning to do nobles eventually, you might consider just buying the Lady's Ensemble anyway -- we do NOT plan to offer a trade-up option in the future.
Who needs this pattern? The thousands of Renaissance women who do NOT play nobles, and have NOT acquired the Elizabethan Lady's Ensemble. The ale wenches, shop-women, herbalists, blacksmith's wives, midwives, chambermaids, farmers' wives, and thousands of others. Until now they've been left without a high-standard, historically accurate option. No more -- now there's a more authentic option.
Each pattern package comes with extensive instructions and documentation -- including detailed discussion of extant specimens, how they were made and worn, materials and techniques of the period, and the modern equivalents you can use to achieve the closest possible results.
Our patterns were developed using a computerized drafting and grading system, to ensure accuracy of fit and consistency between sizes. This was followed by an extensive program of testing and feedback to ensure usability, simplicity, and ease of construction.
These are, quite simply, the best Elizabethan patterns ever offered to the public at any price -- and our customers all agree. The fact that this replaces several mismatched patterns from various sources at these low prices makes them a stunning bargain.
Consider the time and money you spend on fabrics, trims, and notions. Consider the many hours spent assembling and fitting an extraordinary costume project. Now consider the price of starting with the right patterns compared with the yards of wastage and hours of frustration you can easily spend trying to correct some other patterns on the market. There is really no reason at all not to start with the very best.
